the next bit:

I drew Tsipras, leader of Syriza, a few years ago as part of the film “How to be Boss” for which we won an award as “Best Animation”

Somehow I think my first drawing was not quite right, or maybe Tsipras has improved… who knows!

here is a view of Sultanhamet showing the two mosques, the former Cathedral, Agia Sophia and The Blue Mosque. In the foreground is the tram. This is a picture that we began about 3 years ago so working from sketches. I think it is one of about 20 pictures still in need of finishing. The Council in Istanbul are interested in printing a book of our work so that is exciting and a reason to try to get the work finished.

In addition, this will be one of the many pictures in the film “Following Lear” showing the views Lear drew and how they appear today.

The second half of this is keyframed. I might have it inbetweened by the end of tomorrow. (I hope…) There is then a short section with an umbrella and after that a new scene…
